USA to Face Brazil in May Friendly


















The Brazilian Football Federation has announced The Brazilian National team will travel north to take on the USMNT this May 30 or 31st.  No venue has been set but the two rumored sites are FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland or Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

The match will be a warm up for 2014 World Cup Qualifying for the Yanks who begin their bid for the Wold Cup June 8th stateside against Antigua and Barbuda, followed by a trip June 12 to Guatemala. 

The US last met Brazil in August 2010 resulting in a 2-0 win for the Brazilians in East Rutherford, NJ.  The US also met Brazil in the Finals of the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa where despite jumping to a 2-0 lead, the US fell 3-2.
